This agreement is between Rebekah Cook (hereinafter referred to as “Instructor”) and the “Parent/Student” for art instruction services provided by Rebekah Cook Art.
Payment and Subscription
- The Parent/Student understands that the lessons are offered on a monthly subscription basis.
- The Parent/Student agrees to pay the current lesson fee.
- Art Lessons: Payment covers all materials used during the instruction period, except for the student’s personal sketchbook. Students are required to purchase a sketchbook (available on our website) for use both at home and in the studio.
- Pottery Lessons: Payment includes all materials used during the instruction period, including clay, studio tools, kiln firings, and glazes.
- Lessons take place once a week at the scheduled time agreed upon by the Instructor and the Parent/Student. The studio is located at 344 Main St., Wakefield, RI.
- Payments are managed through a subscription on the Rebekah Cook Art website and are due before the first lesson of each month. The Parent/Student is responsible for paying for all classes scheduled within that month.
- If a student misses a class, a make-up session will be scheduled. The make-up class must be completed within 30 days of the missed lesson.
- Missed class fees cannot be applied to the following month’s payment.
- The Instructor reserves the right to adjust monthly payments in response to increased costs. Any changes will be communicated with adequate notice and explanation.
- If a student intends to discontinue lessons for the following month, a one-month cancellation notice is required. Notification must be provided one month before the next billing cycle to avoid being charged for the subsequent month.
- For example:
- If you cancel on February 27, the subscription will end on April 1.
- If you cancel on March 2, the subscription will end on May 1.
- For example:
Rescheduling Due to Absences, Inclement Weather, or Instructor Conflict

In emergencies or circumstances beyond the Parent/Student’s control, the Instructor may make exceptions and work with you to reschedule.
- Each student is allowed one make-up class per month.
- All make-up classes must be completed within 30 days of the missed lesson.
- Rescheduling is subject to the Instructor’s availability, but every effort will be made to accommodate the student’s schedule.
- Classes canceled due to inclement weather or conflicts on the Instructor’s part will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time.
- If weather conditions are uncertain, please text or call the Instructor to confirm whether the class is still scheduled.
Arrival and Departure

- Student must Clock in / Clock out at provided terminal.
